Web Platform Developer - 12 Month Contract

With over 60 years of experience in the healthcare market, in over 100 countries around the world, our client is looking for a Web Platform Developer to join their growing company for a 12 month contract.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Digital Group Leader, the Web platform Developer will perform one or more of the following:

• Development of all server-side logic, definition, maintenance, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness
• Creates, maintains documentation of all related projects for websites, applications and other platforms
• Maintains local development environments as needed for application testing and prototyping prior to implementation. Performs unit and end-to-end testing of all applications developed and enhancements to systems
• Ensures backup and recovery procedures are in place
• Optimization of the applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Proactive involvement in research and propose use of new technologies, concepts, tools and processes
• Implementation of security data protection
• Develop and/or maintain software documentation

About You

To meet the challenges of this role, you must:

• Have a computer science degree program or related studies or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of six (6) years of professional programming experience implementing complex web applications
• Implementation or architect role on at least three core projects
• Experience in containerization small/large-scale ( e.g Docker )
• Have proficient understanding and programming experience in Linux/ /PHP/MySQL/NoSQL/Symfony
• Have proficient understanding of OWASP security principles
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environment
• Have understanding and programming experience in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Data migration, transformation, and scripting
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Have experience of code versioning tools (Git)
• Have some experience with AWS platform, Pearl, Ansible
• Have demonstrated team leadership and organizing skills
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
