VP, IT Security Practice Lead (IAM)

 

The IAM Practice Lead will be an important member of the overall security practice -  leading client IAM projects and internal staff to deliver quality in addressing client needs. The qualified applicant will be able to effectively and efficiently supervise and build teams of IAM practitioners to satisfy external clients' IAM security needs across multiple industries and maturity levels.

  • Maintain productive relationships with client management
  • Assist with the development of training, recruiting, and staffing programs, and/or other practice-wide needs
  • Develop long-term relationships and networks
  • Ability to communicate difficult subject matter in a clear and concise fashion is important
  • Ability to work with different delivery teams to support Strategy capabilities as part of larger projects is required
  • Ability to consider updated thinking to solve traditional security challenges is important
  • Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence
  • Motivate others to perform at maximum efficiency without sacrificing quality of the services delivered
  • Assume a lead role in creating proposals, budgets, and work plans
  • Participate in other business development activities as appropriate
  • Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services

 

About You

  • 5+ years of related work experience in a similar IAM Security consulting practice or function, servicing cross-industry clients at a national level (and preferably in US)
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CIAM, or CISA certification preferred
  • Proven experience establishing processes and KPIs around IAM, Directory Systems, LDAP, Active Directory, Access Controls, Endpoint and Infrastructure Privileged Access Management, and Enterprise Password Security best practices
  • Proven experience in architecting and deploying innovative identity and access management solutions by working with stakeholders to identify, recommend, and adopt identity and access management and related technologies
  • Understanding of Authentication and Authorization mechanisms (Active Directory, LDAP, Identity Solutions such as Forgerock, KeyCloak, Shibboleth, Syncope, SAML, OpenID, Oauth, XACML, etc.)
  • Familiarity with identity-related standards efforts such as SCIM and FIDO, 2FA Best Practices , as well as social identity and mobility and their adoption trends
  • Strong understanding of architecting and implementing IAM solutions including LDAP, multi-factor authentication, password management, role-based access control, SSO (SAML, OAuth, UnboundID/Ping Identity)
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of various standards and guidelines that are applicable to security practices such as ISO, NIST, COBIT and others
  • Experience and willingness to manage and continue growing the IAM practice
  • Experience managing and building high-performing teams
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment

 

Salary

$175,000 - $200,000/year
