About the Company

Our client is a leading company in the retail energy industry. They are looking for a hardworking self-starter to join their team. You will have the opportunity to work independently and grow within the company.

About the Opportunity

• Daily review of electronic payments (Wire, EFT & ACH)
• Treasury point person for FX transactions (confirming with bank, package for wire, follow up)
• Coordination with various financial institutions on account updates and changes
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Monthly service charge reconciliations
• Monthly accounts receivable reconciliation entry in accounting system with inputs from operations department
• Prepare (backup) on cash flow forecast with inputs from various internal departments, analyze daily cash flow forecasts
• Participate in SOX review, year-end audit and other requests from auditors
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting

About You

• College diploma or university degree in the field of business or accounting
• 3+ years of working experience in Treasury
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of Great Plains an asset
• Experience with Treasury Management System an asset
• Excellent communication skill and very strong analytical skills

Salary

$50,000 - $55,000/year
