T1 Assembler - Administrative Support - 1 Month Contract
Our Toronto offices are looking for a team of Seasonal Tax Assemblers and Preparers to join our Tax Services team in April. If you are reliable, efficient, have high attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment this is a great opportunity to gain professional service exposure. In this role, you will assemble client tax returns, answer and direct phone calls with professionalism, and make mailings as needed.
About the Opportunity
- Printing and assembling tax returns
- Data entry and other general office tasks
- Scanning and filing confidential client documents
- Assist in compiling and mailing of personal tax returns
- Provide general administrative support
- Preparation of personal tax returns
- Closely working with reviewers and partners
- Reaching out to clients for additional information or to ask questions
- Confirming facts with the Canada Revenue Agency
About You
- Interest/Experience in Accounting/Tax is helpful
- Excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and high attention to detail
- Commitment to quality and the timely completion of work
- Previous experience in Microsoft Office
- Experience in tax or strong interest in accounting in general
- Exposure to tax preparation software is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external contact
- Experience with complex tax returns
- Committed to quality work completed in a timely manner
Pay Rate
$17 - $18/hour
