About the Opportunity

• Interact professionally with a diverse Finance and Accounting group
• Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands
• Evaluate continuous user requests, establishing and shifting priorities based on numerous considerations, and demands - relating to ERP and other enterprise applications
• Investigate and evaluate technology solutions and processes and make recommendations that maximize time, efficiency and cost
• Collaborates with various departments to research, design, document, and modify solution specifications throughout the production life cycle (ERP, CRM, BI/reporting, etc)
• Articulates and documents business requirements
• Participate in all systems life cycle and project management activities across a matrix environment. Maintain familiarity with other technology platforms
• Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and walkthroughs to communicate system designs and validate proposed solutions
• Support project management effort. Develop project plans, test plans, and test scripts
• Obtains vital input from enterprise architecture teams and identifies solution interdependencies

About You

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Information Technology, or related field
• Five years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong understanding of the SDLC process/stages
• Participated in at least one ERP implementation
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications like ERP, CRM, BI/reporting, etc
• Strong understanding of finance/accounting principles and processes - GL, AR, AP, etc
• Understanding of relational databases. Expert knowledge of SQL
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills required
• Ability to communicate effectively across the organization and effectively articulate ideas but more importantly, willingness to listen to others
• High level of initiative and critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable solutions
