Sourcing Associate - 4 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Performing high-level analysis, reviewing existing supplier portfolios and assisting in developing key stakeholders’ requirements and specifications
• Review spend data and suggest sourcing strategies aligned with the project objectives and sourcing processes
• Negotiating, executing and managing small to mid-level contracts in conjunction with the internal and external stakeholders
• Work with clients to understand their procurement requirements, identify any off-contract spend, and effectively optimize existing contracts to maximize value and compliance
• Work with suppliers to manage key elements of supplier performance and ensure fair, equitable pricing for client(s)
• Maintaining internal documents to track key contract opportunities, project timelines and resulting cost impacts
• Maintaining accurate and complete document retention

About You

• Post-secondary education in related field preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience
• Intermediate understanding of MS Office Suite applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay Rate

$23 - $27/hour
