Senior Treasury Consultant - 6 to 12 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Senior Treasury Consultant who will be responsible for leading initiatives, including process-re-engineering, integration projects with banks and Treasury systems implementation.

  • As subject matter experts of Treasury applications and processes, assess impacts of vendor product upgrades to people and processes, and manage the change including process redesign, training, process documentation, users’ expectations and stakeholder partnership
  • Produce quality documents including cost-benefit analysis, business processes and controls, requirements, user stories, user guides and training materials
  • Investigate, analyze and define operational problems, identify risks, assess options and recommend and implement business solutions to improve processes and controls
  • Research on best practices and solutions to meet business requirements and provide input to management on opportunities to improve operational effectiveness
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders (Operations, Systems, Business units, Banks, Third Party Vendors) and develop productive working relationships with key business partners
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to prioritize and plan work based on priorities and resources to support business needs

About You

  • 8+ years of experience in areas of Treasury Operations, Cash Management, Cash Forecasting and Positioning, Audit, Accounting or Risk Management
  • Experience in implementation of Treasury Management System (TMS), Cash Management System or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Treasury / Accounting / Project Manager / Business Analyst certification an asset
  • Proven understanding and knowledge of Treasury business processes and concepts
  • Experience in complex business process mapping and business process reengineering
  • Experience in systems integration implementation
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Global and agile mindset

Pay Rate

$55/hour
