ARE YOU A SENIOR SALESFORCE DEVELOPER/ARCHITECT WITH EXPERTISE IN THE INTEGRATION OF SALESFORCE WITH OTHER SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS AND DATABASES? Our client, located midtown Toronto, is current hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect to assist with integrating their current and new financial and business systems into Salesforce. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the company’s founder and CEO on this critical business initiative!

 

Senior Salesforce Developer - 6 Month Contract

 

About the Opportunity

  • Work directly with the business to quickly understand the current state of the Salesforce Enterprise environment
  • Focus on solution design, development and data migration or loading activities
  • Provide technical expertise in design, development, testing and debugging
  • Lead the discovery, enhancement and redevelopment of Salesforce
  • Lead the integration of all business applications within Salesforce
  • Coordinate closely with the business to ensure seamless execution to project scope, budget, quality and timeline
  • Act as the solution architect and subject matter expert within a particular industry
  • Provide strategic oversight and feedback into the processes and direction of the Salesforce environment
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to our clients solution support team and consultant on best practices and areas for future development

 

About You

  • University/ College degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years consulting experience with emphasis on large-scale, robust, and secure applications
  • Senior programming and consulting experience in the Force.com platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
  • Experience developing custom interfaces to further Salesforce capabilities and incorporate business rules and logic into the application environment
  • Experience preventing security vulnerabilities in Apex and Visualforce
  • Extensive experience with data-driven applications and relational databases
  • Extensive experience documenting and transferring knowledge of all development activities to in-house staff and stakeholders
  • Experience with SDLC and SMLC, etc.
  • Ensure that all use access is configured as per business requirements to ensure that all changes within Salesforce and the new accounting system are tracked for easy troubleshooting
  • Automate all accounting processes as required
  • Developer and configure all links in Salesforce to ensure data flows correctly between systems
  • 5+ years consulting experience in developing custom application using Apex and Visualforce
  • Experience using the fundamental programmatic capabilities of the Force.com platform to develop Salesforce capabilities and incorporate business logic
  • Experience with an enterprise application server (e.g. IBM WebSphere Application Server)
  • Experience working with JavaScript/AJAX, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) architecture and component-based architecture
  • Experience building relational database
  • Experience with accounting applications like Sage or Financial Force
