Senior Manager, Finance - 14 Month Contract

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Manager for a temporary (14 month) contract. The role will report to the Director of Finance and will support the financial close process, including month/quarter-end reporting with a strong focus on accounting policy.

About the Opportunity

• Supporting day-to-day accounting, including overseeing and reviewing the month-end close process (reviewing journal entries/reconciliations/accruals etc)
• Leading special project work around revenue recognition (IFRS 15)
• Developing financial models to support accounting analyses and decisions
• Partnering with cross-functional resources to understand the impact of accounting policy changes
• Performing analytical reviews of results and investigating unusual significant variances
• Preparation of external reporting requirements

About You

• University degree in Finance with a CPA, CA designation
• Minimum 5+ years of work experience within public accounting
• Strong IFRS technical accounting background
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Rate

$90,000 - $95,000/year
