Senior Internal Auditor

About the Opportunity  

• The Senior Internal Auditor will work with business process owners and employees to support key controls from across the organization
• Plan and execute audit programs while maintaining respectful and effective communications and relationships with management and the departments under review
• Execute business unit audits throughout the organization in accordance with the company’s audit framework and methodology, as well as generally accepted auditing standards
• Review, evaluate and document internal control systems and compliance with company policy and procedures
• Identify and recommend process and control improvements to management through effective communication and report writing
• Maintain working papers in accordance with NI-52- 109 guidelines

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CIA and or CPA designated
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in internal audit
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with strong detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated and independent with the ability to build strong relationships 
• General knowledge of IT and financial system operations 
• Willing and able to travel (30%-40%) and work flexible hours in support of business needs
• Valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract

Salary Range
$65,000-$90,000/year
