Senior IT Business Analyst - Manufacturing (Closed)

Senior IT Business Analyst - Manufacturing

This role works closely with all Manufacturing / Engineering team members in identifying and defining key gaps IT Solutions (applications) and processes via thorough analysis of 'current state' data. The Senior IT Business Analyst  will document current solutions and processes, identify change requirements, coordinate functional evaluations, and propose various 'future state' ideas and technology solutions.

About the Opportunity

• Analyzes current technology solutions and processes to identify areas of improvement, and translate into potential IT solutions and process improvements in the areas of PLM, MES, R&D, LIMS, CI
• Recommends technical/business solutions that are comprehensive, fiscally responsible and encompass cutting edge technology

• Gathers and analyzes documentation and data on current state applications, solutions and processes

• Prepares reports supporting department goals and objectives
• Implements business Continuous Process improvement
• Aids in creation and maintenance of department metrics, KPI, and related analytical tools

About You

• 5+ years of proven Business Analysis, Documentation, Requirements Gathering experience
• 2+ years of work experience in Manufacturing or Engineering industries
• Excellent documentation experience
• Strong understanding of Manufacturing and Engineering solutions/applications, and most of the following:
  • PLM Applications (eg Aras, Siemens)
  • Kaizen/Continuous Improvement concepts
  • R&D / LIMS Applications
  • MES/ShopFloor applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Salary

$105,000 - $110,000/year
