Senior Financial Analyst - 4 Month Contract

Our client is sourcing for a Senior Financial Analyst for a 4 month contract with the potential to extend or go permanent.

About the Opportunity

• Assist in preparation and analysis of US and Canadian financial and regulatory reporting, Schedule II and Schedule III banks both regulated by OSFI
• Provide day-to-day accounting/regulatory support in the preparation of various management and ad hoc reports
• Participate in ad hoc projects and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager

About You

• CPA designation
• University degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Top-notch Excel
• A minimum of four years progressive work experience with a focus on accounting, financial/regulatory reporting, controls and process management, preferably with experience in financial services environment
• Knowledge of and/or experience preparing OSFI regulatory reports and banking business and products not mandatory, but preferable
• Proven ability to work independently and to identify and resolve issues by exercising of professional judgment
• Strong analytic, accounting, and problem solving skills
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Pay Rate

$45/hour
