Our client is a multi-billion dollar global manufacturing company. They are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their team in this operational role that will involve both technical research and accounting policy work.

About the Opportunity

• Monitor IFRS and evaluate the impact of changes on the business unit; create and present training on IFRS changes to finance staff
• Lead special projects related to implementation of new or changing accounting standards
• Draft position papers around technical accounting topics
• Perform research of technical accounting issues related to the business unit
• Evaluate financial reporting impact of changes to the business unit operations
• Provide technical support to the business unit Global accounting team in their assessment of accounting issues
• Monitor annual global statutory financial statements and audit process

About You

• CPA (CA)
• 4+ years of related working experience
• Working knowledge of IFRS with experience writing sections of the MD&A
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range

$80,000 - $85,000/year
