Senior Business Systems Analyst - Retail Systems

Our large Canadian retail client is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst / Jr Architect for their In-Store Systems team. This is a full time position located in Mississauga.

About the Opportunity

This role works with business users to understand their requests for solutions for In-Store systems, and produce high-level design/architecture plans for implementation. This is not a hands-on implementation role, rather the main objective is to understand business requirements and select the appropriate technology for implementation.

About You

• Proven experience in the Retail industry, thorough understanding of In-Store Systems (eg POS, Store Inventory Management, etc)
• Strong Business Analysis skills - gathering business requirements and recommending solutions
• Exposure to Solution Architecture - producing high-level architecture designs for technology solutions for Retail
• Knowledge of architecture methods and standards (e.g. TOGAF)
• Relational database concepts, design, implementation, and integration
• Architecture/design techniques (including but not limited to OO, top-down, structured analysis, component-based design)
• Solid knowledge of a variety of technologies/approaches including but not limited to J2EE, .NET, mainframe, packaged application integration, workflow, EAI/ESB, SOA, networking and operating system concepts.

Salary

$105,000 - $115,000/year
