Senior Administrative Assistant - 9 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

  • Provide support to the Director and management for ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Provide administrative support including:
    • Take meeting minutes, prepare and post records of meetings, conference calls, and ad hoc subcommittee meetings. Arrange travel and catering for meetings.
    • Coordinate committee membership activities including correspondence, access to the portal, current membership lists, continuing education credits, etc.
    • Schedule internal and external meetings, conference calls, appointments
    • Develop agendas, post approved agendas, relevant documentation, briefing notes and reports prior to meetings
    • Update electronic calendars and project files to document all meeting and committee events
  • Provide administrative support for the monthly staff meetings; schedule meetings, take minutes and finalize records
  • Processing expense forms and staff visa expenses

About You

  • Education: Minimum 2 years of postsecondary education experience as Medical Office Assistant/Admin
  • Medical industry experience is required
  • Excellent minute taking skills in medical scientific committee meetings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong data entry, typing scores (at least 60 WPM)
  • Excellent oral and written communication

Pay Rate

$25 - $27/hour
