Senior Accountant - 3 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
• Assisting with preparation of year-end financial statements
• Documentation of processes (journal entry, account reconciliations and financial statement preparation)
• Assisting in the reconciliation of fixed assets schedules
• Reconciliation of corporate banking transactions and request for transfers

• Assist in gathering data for Annual Corporate Income Tax Filings
• Prepare indirect tax filings, including GST/HST/PST Filings
• Prepare and reconcile monthly Good and Service Tax entries and invoices
• Assist in the preparation of federal, provincial and state tax provisions

About You

• CPA designation
• Strong GAAP foundation
• Ability to express ideas clearly, in both written and verbal communication
• Able to prioritize, organize, multitask, and meet deadlines under pressure
• Analytical mindset with high accuracy and efficiency
• Strong computer skills including  accounting software, and the MS office suite (Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Word)
• Experience working in a hyper-growth organization

Pay Rate

$35/hour
