Our client is Canada's largest and fastest growing online investment manager. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to be the right-hand person to the Finance Lead to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

About the Opportunity

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to our regulators and parent company
• Daily bank, EFT and other general ledger reconciliations
• Prepare supporting schedules and journal entries during month end closing
• Prepare and file withholding and other applicable taxes to various government bodies
• Prepare monthly intercompany invoicing, reconciling to appropriate data sources and General Ledgers
• Monthly intercompany reconciliation process
• Assist in preparing monthly financial, regulatory and other value-added reporting
• Monitor and calculate weekly risk-adjusted capital, escalating any issues as appropriate
• Play a key role in interim and annual financial audit and periodic regulatory audit

About You

• CPA
• 3+ years relevant experience with CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA designation
• Experience in financial services industry or audit clients in Financial Services industry
• Organized, attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and comfortable working with a large set of data
• Understanding of IIROC reporting requirements
• Strong Excel skills

Salary Range

$70,000 - $80,000/year
