QA Analyst - 6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Prepare test cases for new code and enhancements to existing code
• Unit test new code and enhancements to existing code
• Develop automated tests to facilitate regression testing
• Integration testing
• Manage development tickets in defect tracking system

About You

• Experience as a QA Analyst testing web based applications
• Experience testing web services
• 2+ years of Selenium experience
• Experience with SoapUI is an asset
• Experience working with complex integration
• Ability to create SQL queries to validate application behaviour at the database level
• Experience with large transaction based systems
• Must be a team player, able to work with others, possess a strong work ethic, and have high standards in product quality
• Must be reliable and able to work during regular business hours or as required to finish a project
• Must be willing to learn from other team members, be open to the ideas of others, and also be willing to take direction
• Basic knowledge of web technologies and MVC architecture are an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
• Ability to create testing scripts using PHP is an asset
• Knowledge of UNIX Shell and DOS commands are an asset
