About the Opportunity

• All aspects of general ledger accounting including preparing monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations, etc.
• Prepare reporting and analysis on an individual property basis for partners, lenders and Corporate Accounting groups
• Prepare monthly distribution/contribution of cash flows
• Prepare monthly GST/QST remittance calculations and reporting
• Prepare quarterly financial packages
• Work proactively with property management to identify issues regarding the monthly financial results, and provide guidance on property accounting policies
• Work with property management and other interested parties to coordinate the creation and flow of financial data, budgets and reforecasts
• Work with independent auditors and create work papers to be used in conjunction with audits

About You

• CPA In Progress
• 1-3 years of property accounting experience with large commercial/retail properties
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and have proven financial analysis skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Salary

$55,000 - $58,000/year
