Portfolio Operations Administrator - 2 Weeks+ Contract

About the Opportunity

  • Supporting the daily pricing and fund valuation process
  • Operating and supporting specialist systems for securities valuations and corporate actions
  • Assisting in fundamental analysis of corporate and government financials underlying security valuations
  • Gathering, analyzing, validating and distributing dividends, corporate action, and proxy information
  • Ensuring correct and timely posting of all corporate actions, including solicitation and onward reporting of instructions, and identifying financial accounting and tax accounting implications
  • Communicating professionally with portfolio managers, custodians, issuers, data vendors, brokers, auditors, and law firms
  • Preparing documentation in conjunction with the legal and compliance departments for markets, tax agencies, brokers, IPOs, loans, and private placements
  • Researching and creating security profiles of financial instruments

About You

  • Experience working in Operations at a Financial Institution (must have experience with mutual funds, securities/investments, foreign currency translation or derivatives)
  • Excellent Excel knowledge (v-lookups)
  • Data entry experience
  • Must be able to commit to 2 weeks

Pay Rate

$16 - $19/hour
