Payroll Coordinator - 4-6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Processing the weekly payroll for 750 employees in Canada
• Ensure compliance with tax requirements for payroll related items
• Managing payroll related queries from employees
• Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files
• Maintaining and reconciling the payroll clearing account
• Review preview reports
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• 5+ years of Canadian payroll experience
• Strong excel skills (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables)
• Payroll and/or Accounting designation
• Knowledge of Kronos and Ceridian InSync Blue is a must
• Excellent analytical skills (mathematical aptitude and information filtering)
• Extensive knowledge of Canadian Payroll legislation, labour standards and taxation
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Organized and detailed oriented

Pay Rate

$40 - $45/hour
