About the Opportunity

  • Perform accounting functions for payroll, pension, bonuses and employee expenses
  • Process pay changes including pay rates, taxable benefits, overtime, bonuses and commissions and deductions
  • Prepare supporting information for yearly pension audits and calculate employer pension contributions and process payments
  • Reconcile payroll pension records with the pension plan provider and reconcile corporate pension accounts to the general ledger
  • Prepare accounting entries for payroll bi-monthly, including pension, benefit distribution, bonuses and commissions and employee expense
  • Administer the expense management system and support employees using the system

About You

  • High school diploma; related college diploma preferred
  • Payroll certification or working towards is an asset but not required
  • 3+ years of payroll accounting experience
  • Working experience with ADP pay@work
  • Extremely proficient with MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and MS Office Suite overall
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience dealing with multiple departments

Salary

$55,000 - $60,000/year
