Payroll Accounting Specialist - 3 to 6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Journal entries for local and international payroll in the General Ledger
• Summarize and record payroll taxes
• Process union dues payments
• Process manual journal entries for intercompany charge-backs
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation for several entities
• Prepare monthly and quarterly general ledger accounts reconciliation
• Answer internal and external stakeholders’ inquiry
• Calculate and prepare monthly WSIB
• Process WSIB annual reconciliation for Ontario and Quebec
• Prepare EHT Annual filing
• Participate in special projects as required

About You

• Diploma or degree in Accounting/Business Administration or equivalent an asset
• Canadian Payroll Association certification level I (PCP) or enrolled in CPA an asset
• A combination of the following systems experience is an asset: Ceridian Dayforce, Oracle, JD Edwards, MS Dynamics Navision
• MS Office skills including Excel
• Bilingual in French and English an asset

Pay Rate

$25 - $30/hour
