Java/Scala Developer - 5 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Working with the platform team and backbone of the digital program
• Mission critical technology that cannot fail
• Senior level candidate with 3-5 years of Scala
• Having experience with Java 8 or Java 7 and also working in an enterprise environment is key
• 10 people on the team and you will be working in an agile environment
• Peer programming is part of the interview process
• Will reports to Director of IT

About You

• 3-5 years of Scala
• Java 7 or 8
• Enterprise environment
• Peer programming exp or exposure
  • You will be paired with someone and will be working with someone on the code
  • Can’t be afraid to share the code with colleagues
• Demonstration of lifelong learning mentality would be a plus. No two days are alike in this role
