Java Developer (Multi-Threading)

About the Opportunity

• Work on a large complex trading platform using multi-threading, concurrency, etc
• Design robust software solutions new features (or working on bugs)
• Create thorough test cases to insure robust software gets released
• Collaborate with teammates
• Provide assistance to support team when a software issue is escalated

About You

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 5 to 15 years of core Java (not Web) development experience - specifically with concurrency and multi-threading
• Experience working with electronic order/trade systems is a plus
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Experience with optimizing software performance is a plus
• Experience with multi-threaded programming
• Exposure to socket/network programming is a plus
• Experience with C/C++ is a plus

Salary

$80,000 - $100,000/year
