Reinsurance Accountant - 6 Month Contract (Closed)

Insurance or Reinsurance Accountant  - 6 Month Contract to Permanent

About the Opportunity

• Prepare reinsurance accounting and reconciliations
• Assist in preparing quarter and year-end reinsurance schedules
• Research, monitor, and reconcile re-insurer accounts
• Determine and process excess of loss claim recoveries and premiums
• Assist to approve accounts payable and bank deposits
• Assist with special projects as assigned

About You

• Minimum 2 years insurance or accounting experience preferred
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and spreadsheets
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Pay Rate

$21 - $24/hour
