IT Support Analyst - Contract

Our client is seeking an IT Support Assistant to research, design, document and modify systems and software throughout the production lifecycle.

About the Opportunity

  • Analyzing, designing, testing, troubleshooting and building solutions for various desktop/web applications and enhancements
  • Reviewing and understanding specifications to deploy and maintain infrastructure systems
  • Creating end-user documentation
  • Responsible for set-up and maintenance of application and systems configuration
  • Maintaining application and system documentation, schedule and perform all patch releases and upgrade implementations
  • Liaise with staff, and others, on a daily basis ensuring professionalism at all times
  • Responsible for new user setup and staff departure procedures
  • Provide application support to staff for computer programs
  • Install, manage, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011/2013
  • Working experience upgrading and maintaining SharePoint 2007/2010/2013
  • Working experience of SQL Server (all versions) and MS SQL Reporting Services
  • Tech support work experience (hardware, applications support, networking, mobile devices)
  • Advanced computer support skills, including but not limited to Networking, Windows, Microsoft Office, handheld device setup, and troubleshooting, and the ability to learn and support new programs
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask, thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to change, and develop new skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to change, and develop new skills
  • Setting up, patching and managing Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2012 R2
  • Managing Microsoft Exchange 2010 and Microsoft CRM 2011
  • Configuring DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, IIS, Group Policy
  • Troubleshooting Windows 7 desktop operating systems
  • Experience with virtualization with VMWare: Deploying new VM Guests, managing snapshots, patching ESXi
  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012
  • Basic Powershell skills are a must; Intermediate to advanced skills are an asset

Salary

$18 - $25/hour
