General Accountant

About the Company

Our client is a growing organization in the manufacturing industry. They are looking for a General Accountant to be responsible for month-end, reconciliations, and preparing and posting of accruals and prepayments. Our client can provide you with opportunities for growth and great work/life balance.

About the Opportunity

• Monthly actual submission to HFM
• Complete various statistical surveys
• Month-end control account reconciliations
• Prepare and posting of accruals and prepayments
• Perform Intercompany reconciliations
• Analyze monthly SGA spend variances against budgets and forecast
• Support role in preparation of Budget and Forecast for CAPEX and SGA accounts
• Maintain SOX controls

About You

• College Diploma in accounting, finance, or business administration
• 2-3 years of full cycle accounting experience
• CPA in progress is an asset
• A couple of direct experience in an Accounts Payable capacity
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Salary

$58,000 - $60,000/year
