General Accountant

About the Opportunity

• Full cycle accounting for corporate entities, including preparation of bank reconciliations, journal entries, account reconciliations, and quarterly lead sheets with analysis
• Expense allocation and invoicing to other corporate entities
• Manage corporate credit card payments, accounting and reconciliations
• Ownership of corporate cash reporting including; daily cash email, monthly cash report to senior management and quarterly consolidated cash flow statement
• Coordinating the know your client process and legal documentation review for all bank account administration matters
• Identifies and implements process improvement initiatives, including automation
• Preparation of documentation for key accounting processes to create standardized best practices.

About You

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to adapt messages to varied audiences
• Results oriented with a spirit of continuous improvement
• Proven organizational skills and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel's advanced functions
• Completion of a university degree or college diploma in Accounting or Finance

Salary

$60,000 - $65,000/year
