General Accountant

Our client is looking for a General Accountant to be responsible for the financial and operational reporting of a number of divisions within the organization.

About the Opportunity

• Monthly General Ledger accounting/bookkeeping
• Assist with financial close
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare HST returns and other misc remittances as required
• Liaise with field operations on budgets/forecasts, administration, trade payments, etc.

About You

• CPA in progress
• 5 years of full cycle accounting experience; construction industry is an asset
• Sage 50/AS400 is an asset or any other large ERP
• Exceptional Excel skills
• Strong and assertive interpersonal communication skills
• Golfing experience is a must

Salary

$65,000- $70,000/year
