Full Stack Developer (Cloud)

About the Opportunity

Our client is currently working with a very exciting and well-financed startup in the IoT space. Currently at 20 people, this company is expecting to hit $100mil+ revenue in the next 12-24 months!

We are looking for a strong full stack developer with skills in OOP backend languages (Java, .NET or others), front end (Angular, Node, etc), noSQL databases (Hadoop, MongoDB, or others) with some exposure to microservices/containers/devops (Docker, Kubernetes, etc) and cloud development (aws, azuer, etc).

This position will be working on platform(s) that control IoT devices!

About You

• Computer Science (or related) university degree
• Proven experience in full stack software engineering - OOP backend (Java, .NET, or other) with front end web frameworks (Angular, React, Node, etc)
• Exposure to noSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc) and Solr, Spark, Kafka is a plus
• Experience with containers and/or devops is a big plus - Docker, Kubernetes, etc
• Exposure to cloud development is a big plus - AWS, Azure, IBM cloud, etc
• Understanding of MQTT vs HTTP would be greatly beneficial
• Experience with REST APIs, microservice architecture is a big plus

Salary

$100,000 - $120,000/year
