About the Company

Our client is a large company that has a been a long-standing player in the insurance industry. They offer a competitive compensation plan along with an opportunity to gain CPA hours experience.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare month end journal entries and work with the Financial Reporting Manager on month-end closing and consolidation
• Track and record intercompany transactions by liaising with members of sister companies
• Complete monthly and quarterly account reconciliations in a timely manner
• Assist the Controller in the preparation of annual budgets/ forecasts, annual audits, GST/HST returns, corporate tax returns
• Assist the finance department with any ad hoc analysis

About You

• University graduate looking to gain experience towards the CPA designation
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills

Salary

$50,000 - $57,000/year
