Financial Analyst, Trade Spend

About the Company

Our client is a large company who manufactures consumer packaged goods with a focus on health and wellness. They are looking to add a Financial Analyst who will report directly to the Director and works closely with Sales and Marketing to provide support on the trade promotion spending process.

About the Opportunity

• Support the budget and ongoing latest estimate processes with respect to Trade Spend and identify any risks or opportunities vs. the budget
• Consolidate trade spend estimates and assist in presenting information in a value-added manner
• Support the control environment around promotional requisitions, approvals and payments
• Responsible for ongoing system maintenance to ensure system and data integrity
• Support the trade spend ROI process by providing financial and analytical support to stakeholders and develop/enhance tools to ensure optimization of investments and profitability
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support business decision making; assist with feasibility studies to support the Company’s Sales and Marketing initiatives
• Support in developing KPI’s and dashboards to present to management and the executive team
• Assist in monthly operational reporting, special project assignments, collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide ad-hoc analysis when required

About You

• Business university degree
• 2-3 years of trade spend and CPG industry experience
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Excel skills

Salary

$60,000 - $65,000/year
