Financial Analyst - 6 Month Contract

 

About the Opportunity

  • Operations Metric Reporting – compile and distribute weekly and monthly reporting related to operations metrics and financial performance comparing actual to budget and prior year
  • Orders & Sales Reporting – collect data and summarize performance on a monthly basis
  • Backlog reporting – Provide weekly backlog reporting and analytics to support forecasting requirements
  • Cost Centre Spend – Compile monthly cost centre spend by functional group and provide to leaders; support inquiries by leader to understand the required details
  • Annual Budget – participate in data analytics and data input to the budget tool
  • Ad hoc reporting- Complete various ad hoc reports related to orders, sales and costs as required to identify variances and gaps to budget & prior year

 

About You

  • IT knowledge: advanced MS Excel Skills and in ERP systems
  • University degree in business or accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Good level of English; any other language is an asset (German/French)
  • Strong oral or written communication
  • Both analytical and synthetic capabilities

  • Ability to work under little supervision and meet tight deadlines

 

Pay Rate

$24 - $27/hour
