Financial Analyst, FP&A - 12 Month Contract

Our client is looking for an FP&A Analyst who wil be reporting directly to the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis. The incumbent will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting, and analysis.

About the Opportunity

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the annual financial budget and quarterly forecast model including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and other selected financial schedules
• Prepare, compile, analyze account balances and management reports, compared with budget, forecast and/or prior year
• Liaise with department leads to obtain or analyze data and other information
• Identify and research monthly variances to budget and forecast
• Prepare and assist with monthly management reporting pack(s)

About You

• CPA an asset
• 3-5 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis
• Advanced Excel and strong modelling skills
• Ability to work with large amounts of data
• Strong communication skills

Pay Rate

$70,000/year
