About the Company

Our client is a large company who manufactures consumer packaged goods with a focus on health and wellness. They are looking for a Controller to lead the Finance group who supports the decision making process for the company's manufacturing facilities.

About the Opportunity

• Communicate timely and accurate financial results including causes for variances against forecast/budget/prior year and forward looking implications
• Provide meaningful financial information, professional judgement and insights for the company’s manufacturing, procurement and distribution activities
• Financial lead in identifying and driving improved efficiencies and operating results
• Prepare and review the supporting documents for the month-end binders
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed and variances are explained
• Continuously seek opportunities to streamline the month end close process and shorten the number of days required to close by completing work prior to the end of the month
• Ensure responsible working capital management and efficient use of company resources on a daily basis
• Provide oversight and improvements to the company’s internal control processes
• Manage external auditors and successful completion of the year-end audit
• Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s ERP system

About You

• CPA
• 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Full cycle controllership and people management experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting and inventory costing

Salary Range

$110,000 - $120,000/year
