Corporate Accountant - 3-6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Manage the accounts payable process from invoice receipt to final payment
• Make deposits and/or pay bills at the bank monthly
• Manage the month-end and quarter-end close deadlines for accounts payable
• Support accounts receivable by contacting debtors where required, and in carrying out year-end tasks such as expense variance analysis and vendor statement reconciliation
• Provides analysis of corporate operating budget variances to corporate department heads
• Manages the preparation of the quarter end and year-end financial statement support binders

About You

• Post-secondary degree in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience related to Accounts Payable, Accounting, Budgeting, Financial Reporting and Funding Requests
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong organization and time management skills and proven ability to multi-task in a high-volume work environment

Pay Rate

$25 - $32/hour
