BI Developer/Report Writer

This role requires designing, developing, implementing and delivering Qlik Sense and Qlik View internal solutions to support business needs. The candidate needs to collaborate with business users to identify key business requirements. The ideal candidate needs to have experience in visual design and development with BI reporting tools.

About the Opportunity

• Interact with business stakeholders / partners to understand their business and reporting needs, including critical metrics and KPIs
• Need to collaboratively work in a team-based environment
• Transform business requirements and wireframes into a guided analytics prototype to provide business and data insights
• Design, develop and test Qlik Sense and Qlik View solutions, integrating reporting components from multiple data sources (internal platforms, CRM, etc)
• Train the business on how to utilize the Qlik Applications

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree (or equivalent work experience)
• 2 to 7 years of IT development experience in Qlik ecosystem - data transfer into Qlik from multiple data sources, data analytics and creation of visual reports
• Experience in developing BI Solutions supporting financial and operational reporting
• Experience in optimizing dashboards with focus on usability, performance, flexibility and standardization
• Experience in data modeling
• Experience in data cleansing and data transformation activities
• Experience in end-to-end implementation of BI projects for developing a portfolio of scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards
• Experience in writing and debugging SQL queries
• Understanding of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript to design, develop, and enhance Qlik extensions and/or web portals

Salary

$75,000 - $85,000/year
