Associate - Canadian Tax

About the Company

Our client is the largest independent financial consulting firm in Canada. This accounting and business advisory firm is hiring an Associate to be responsible for tax returns and identifying planning opportunities within Canadian Tax.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare and review complex tax returns, and identify planning opportunities
• Prepare specialty tax forms (branch tax returns, Reg 105, T2057, etc.)
• Research tax issues, interpret and apply tax legislation
• Assist managers and partners with tax planning implementation

About You

• CPA
• 2-5 years of related tax experience (corporate and personal tax)
• In-Depth Tax Course or a Master of Tax, completed or in progress is an asset
• Strong communication skills, exceptional technical skills and a fine attention to detail

Salary Range

$65,000 - $75,000/year
