Assistant Controller - 12 Month Contract to Permanent

Our client is sourcing for an assistant controller for a 12 month opportunity with potential to convert to full time.

About the Opportunity

• Act as interim Controller and review the financial statements for continuous improvements
• Full cycle accounting; bank reconciliations, processing invoices, maintain subledger and general ledger
• Ensure all accounting processes are adhered to and in compliance with ASPE
• Manage the year-end audit; preparing working papers, answering queries, etc.
• Process payroll using Ceridian
• Provide support and training on the Intacct accounting software

About You

• CPA designation
• Good understanding of ASPE
• Intacct experience
• Experience with Ceridian
• Audit experience
• Supervisory experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong full cycle accounting experience
• Strong communication skills

Pay Rate

$35/hour
