Our client is engaged in the exploration, development, and production of mineral resource properties. They are a growing organization looking to add an Assistant Controller to their team who is experienced with full cycle accounting and financial reporting skills in the mining industry.

About the Opportunity

• Review of day-to-day corporate bookkeeping transactions
• Complete periodic reports and reconciliations for the month-end close process
• Analyze and report operational and financial records obtained from operating mine subsidiaries
• Consolidate financial results and prepare public reporting deliverables
• Coordinate and complete annual tax and corporate filings
• Assess and apply up-and-coming IFRS pronouncements and other public reporting standards
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and year-end audit with external auditors

About You

• CPA, CA
• Strong work experience with IFRS
• Accounting and supervisory experience in the mining industry

Salary Range

$80,000 - $85,000/year
