Accounts Receivable Specialist - 3 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Collections on outstanding AR invoices on a weekly basis
• Process customer payments
• Apply all customer payments to accounting software and ensure reconciliation to bank statements
• Set up new customers
• Maintain an accurate AR aging report with notes on status of payments
• Respond to all customer inquiries related to invoicing / finance / AR on Salesforce and close tickets in a timely manner
• Provide support to the billing team, as well as to finance during billing process as required
• Reconcile outstanding issues on customer accounts
• Liaise with sales representatives on invoicing, pricing and payments
• Deposit checks at bank as necessary
• Other ad-hoc reports and requests

About You

• Finance/Business college or university education
• Minimum of 5 years of full cycle accounts receivable and collections
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and Excel
• NetSuite experience an asset

Pay Rate

$25 - $27/hour
