Accounts Payable Specialist - 12 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Prepare and post invoices in the system for approval
• Prepare and send invoice requirements correspondence to vendors for discrepancies
• Reconcile assigned trade production and non-production vendor accounts
• Investigate and reply to vendor and business-related inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure that all related process and desk procedure documentation are prepared, tested and maintained
• Other related duties as required

About You

• Post-secondary degree or diploma, finance/accounting focus
• Pursuing CPA designation an asset
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience
• A great attitude and proven ability to be an effective business partner, team player, and collaborator
• Partners at all levels of the organization, with ability to negotiate and influence to achieve results
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record in ability to deliver results on time and accurately, utilizing effective organizational and time management skills
• Focus on process optimization and improvement
• Strong computer skills including intermediate Excel skills, SAP experience an asset

Pay Rate

$20 - $22/hour
