Account Payable Clerk - 2 Week+ Contract

About the Opportunity

• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor purchase order invoices and the preparation of invoice deduction notices as necessary
• Troubleshoots any discrepancies, analyzes variances, reporting to management as needed
• Reconciles vendor accounts to vendor statements
• Cut cheques, process invoices, update and enter credit card information
• Process credit card expenses
• Calculate commissions for staff member, entering into Excel model, analyzing and adjusting to company policy
• Execute on month-end process in a timely manner as it relates to accounts payable
• Expense procedures as per direction by the Assistant Controller
• Ad hoc responsibilities such as financial/accounting admin tasks as directed by the VP Finance

About You

• Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills
• 1 - 2 years accounts payable experience
• High-level accuracy and attention to detail
• Willing to work overtime as needs
• Strong initiative to learn
• Intermediate level proficiency using MS office (Excel, Work, Outlook)
• High level accuracy and attention to detail

Pay Rate

$18 - $20/hour
