Accounts Payable Administrator/Communications - 3 Month Contract to Permanent

About the Opportunity

  • Be the main point of contact for responses to Accounts Payable inquiries via phone and email about invoices from vendors, business partners and internal contacts
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
  • Work closely with internal business contacts to ensure proper compliance with the payment process
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Process invoices for payment in a paperless environment, including matching of invoices to purchases orders and validating the accuracy of invoice coding and approvals
  • Processing weekly Cheque/EFT run
  • Ad hoc duties as per manager

About You

  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of accounts payable/general accounting experience
  • Oracle experience is a big asset, open to any ERP
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) is vital for this role
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to independently manage and organize multiple work activities and inputs in order to meet or exceed deadlines
  • Great attitude and ability to work and collaborate with others

Pay Rate

$20 - $21/hour
