Our client is a large private company in the transportation/logistics industry. They are looking for an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for the efficient management of accounting and financial functions/controls of the company.

About the Opportunity

• Accurate and timely monthly and year-end close, including all non-financial reports
• Support budget and forecasting activities
• Obtain and maintain an understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure
• Full cycle, bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salary employees
• Manage other financial activities such as tax, inter-company, insurance and bank transactions
• Reconciliation of all payroll General Ledger accounts, including vacation accruals, salaries, benefits and burdens

About You

• CPA
• 3+ years of similar full-cycle accounting experience
• Transportation/ Logistics or Leasing Company industry experience
• Supervisory experience is an asset
• Excellent analytical skills and insight, strong planning and organizational skills

Salary Range

$85,000 - $95,000/year
