Accounting Analyst

About the Opportunity

• Compiles and prepares monthly journal entries (JE) as per the JE Schedule 
• Coordinates with various finance roles across the company for appropriate JE backup and documentation while ensuring reasonability of entries and compliance to internal controls and processes 
• Reconciles and/or reviews assigned G/L accounts ensuring investigation, follow up and correction of un-reconciled items 
• Maintains consistency and adherence to accounting policies, best practices and goals 
• Coordinates and/or participates in documentation of internal control processes 
• Communicates standard operating procedures to internal customers for accounting and documentation related matters 
• Partners with various internal and external parties for matters affecting the general ledger 
• Performs key analytics to monitor financial accounting trends 
• Provides assistance, when necessary, to queries from internal customers 
• Trains other personnel with respect to accounting related material when required 
• Assists with special projects as required, including inventory counts, fixed assets, and internal/external audit 

About You  

• 1-2 years’ experience with reconciliations, journal entries
• Pursuing CPA designation
• Friendly and hardworking 

Salary Range
$55,000-$60,000/year
