Web Specialist 

Our client is looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The ideal candidate is a self-learner who takes initiative to learn new things and acquire new skills, and has exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.

About the Opportunity

  • Responsible for the website, both in style and appearance as well as functionality, and for consistently updating and/or maintaining the site (e.g., developing web/landing pages, menu items, design and development of new functions and features, software version upgrades, end-user testing, etc.)
  • Website content management using Drupal CMS and applying AODA and CASL requirements
  • Troubleshooting and end-user support (specifically identifying and resolving website functionality issues)
  • E-mail campaigns and other customer contact, using MailChimp and FileMaker Pro
  • Analyzing web generated data using Google Analytics and other web analytics tools

About you

  • Undergraduate degree in web administration, marketing or related discipline
  • 3+ years' experience in maintaining websites using Drupal CMS (in particular, hands-on Drupal experience)
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite, HTML (intermediate and up), Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with Google Analytics to generate, interpret and present data
  • Understanding of SEM and SEO principles, solid knowledge of digital environment trends (social, video, mobile)
