Training & Learning Coordinator - 6 Month Contract
About the Opportunity
- Develop effective working relationships with key staff at the retailer level, colleges and the trainees in order to support the apprenticeship program
- Co-ordinate and organize job fairs at local colleges
- Gather vacancy details from employers and provide updates to local colleges
- Match employers with suitable applicants, ensuring the system is up-to-date and accurate at all times
- Maintain qualification levels of apprentices and technicians, including all pre and post-course work and tracking of assessment certifications
- Prepare operational reports (weekly and monthly)
- Monitor fill rates for all apprentice training courses and provide recommendations to add, cancel or consolidate course sessions
About You
- Experience with a learning management system (LMS) is a huge asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, work-intensive environment
- Demonstrated team player
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
Pay Range
$19-$24/hour
