Technical Analyst ECM – 12 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

  • Work on development, implementation, administration, support and maintenance of our clients Electronic Content Management (ECM) System
  • Support all aspects of the company’s document management applications as well as various business projects
  • Manage ECM implementation projects and develop relationships with subject matter experts and other key stakeholders
  • Content migration
  • ECM System Maintenance and Configuration
  • Manage user groups, permissions, security and metadata based on an approved taxonomy design and architecture
  • Configure and implement information governance structure in document management systems, such as records management and information security modules
  • Support and monitoring of ECM system for availability and performance
  • Perform appropriate updates and patches to document management systems and applications, including but not limited to Content Server, SharePoint, and other document management, collaboration, imaging and related applications
  • Stay current with industry trends and research on new modules and system versions
  • Propose new modules and upgrades to address business needs and opportunities
  • Develop and perform test scripts for new and existing applications
  • Understand team member challenges which might impede the timely completion of their projects and provide technical support and guidance
  • Collaborate with IT teams on integration projects to increase the effectiveness of the ECM environment
  • Monitor and resolve tickets related to ECM system access and troubleshooting
  • Provide end user training and develop end user support documentation ECM Solutions Design and Implementation
  • Design and configure user interface, permission, security, custom search, taxonomy and workflow
  • Requirements gathering and analysis
  • Provide back-up support to Content Architect, as required
  • Participate in product evaluations and disaster recovery testing

About you

  • College or university diploma/degree in IS/ CS/IM
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with information systems specifically with ECM and related applications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting SQL databases
  • Strong experience with records management
  • Experience with end user support with a focus on white glove service
  • Experience in defining security models and permissions for ECM
  • Diligent, well planned, thorough, organized and have relevant and current experience with project plan development and implementation
  • Experience developing technical documentation and presenting those documents to c-level staff as well as peers
  • Superior skills in communication, negotiation, vendor management, analysis, research, and problem solving
  • Versatile with the ability to switch gears quickly all while excelling in a fast-paced environment
  • Embrace collaborative sharing of knowledge within a teamwork environment
